Modern Building Systems is the oldest continuously licensed commercial building manufacturer in Oregon, Washington and California.
Modern Building has been active in all phases of constructions, including design, engineering, manufacturing and planning services for its customers We are also willing to train the right candidate.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
Work cooperatively as part of a team to develop modular building plan sets using Revit.
Create, update and maintain drawing files and incorporate redlines and field markups into drawings.
Interface with internal team members, including project management, production management, estimating, and procurement staff to produce a complete and coordinated set of production drawings.
Coordinate with design team lead and be organized to ensure that multiple projects with potentially simultaneous deadlines are completed on schedule Coordinate with production department during construction Minimum 1-2
years of REVIT experience generating and detailing building drawings.
Possess or gain an understanding of building systems, codes, and construction methods.
Must be a team player, with a positive attitude and strong work ethic PREFERRED SKILLS AND
Qualifications:
Experience with Modular design or commercial construction desirable Assist department staff with permit applications including energy code compliance forms using energy analysis software (Comcheck, CHVAC, etc.
) Assist department staff with various tasks involving plan check, permit document creation, submittals and other related duties as directed by department staff Software:
Adobe, Microsoft Excel, Comcheck, CHVAC Maintain regular attendance and punctuality relative to daily work schedule Understand and follow work rules and procedures Good Attitude; a team player who is able to accept constructive feedback Good communication both verbally and in writing and interpersonal skills Perform all other duties as required.
